We are the producers of the Nova Festival, a celebration of art, music, and unity. On October 7th, our community faced an unimaginable tragedy as 412 lives were lost during the Supernova Festival and adjacent music events. This profound loss has deeply impacted us, but it has also strengthened our resolve to honor those who are no longer with us.

In response to this tragedy, we are creating “Nova Heaven,” a vibrant installation at Burning Man 2024. This project is a tribute to the 412 souls who brought joy, creativity and love to our events. The installation will replicate the iconic shade structure of the festival, a symbol of the friendship, love, and freedom that define the spirit of Nova.

“Nova Heaven” will be a place of remembrance and resilience, featuring 412 angels bearing the names of the victims and a powerful message: “We Will Dance Again.” This installation is not just a memorial; it is a testament to the enduring spirit of our community and a beacon of hope for the future.

We invite you to join us in the deep playa at Burning Man 2024 to experience “Nova Heaven,” a space where we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future filled with love, unity, and dancing once again.

The Vision

Our vision for “Nova Heaven” is to create a sanctuary of remembrance and healing. We aim to provide a place where people can come together, honor the lives of the 412 souls lost on October 7th, and celebrate the enduring qualities of friendship, love, and freedom that define our community. Through this installation, we hope to inspire a sense of unity and shared purpose, demonstrating that even in the aftermath of tragedy, we can find ways to support one another and rebuild.

“Nova Heaven” will feature the iconic shade structure of the Nova Festival, surrounded by 412 angels bearing the names of the victims. The installation’s centerpiece, a powerful message of “We Will Dance Again,” serves as a beacon of hope, encouraging all who visit to carry forward the spirit of those we have lost and to keep dancing, loving, and living fully.

In creating “Nova Heaven,” we seek to honor the past while looking toward the future with hope and determination. We believe that through art, community, and shared experiences, we can find the strength to move forward together.
