Our Vision

NovaHeaven is more than an art installation – it is a living act of remembrance, a space for connection, and a shared journey of healing and elevation.

We are here to honor the lives that were cut short and to create a space where memory becomes presence, where community becomes strength, and where light continues to lead us forward.

Inspired by the sacred spirit of Burning Man, our vision is to carry their light into the heart of the playa and into the hearts of all who encounter this space.

We believe the light of our angels did not vanish – it continues to shine through us.
It guides our steps, fuels our creativity, and expands outward in waves of community, art, unity, and light. Through this light, we remind the world that love is stronger than fear, and that connection, beauty, and humanity can continue to rise and shine even through pain.

Living Presence – Names and Light

18 riangles hold the layer of remembrance.

The names of our angels are engraved , illuminated from within. Their names are not only inscribed – they remain present, radiant, and resonant by the light that shines through.

Each triangle becomes a meeting point of name, memory, and illumination, allowing every angel to continue shining through the shared experience.

A Movement of Elevation

6 large triangles look up to the stars, radiating beams of hope.

Together, they converge into a single movement of ascension – a gesture that connects the personal and the collective, the earth and the sky, memory and presence.

This movement defines NovaHeaven this year: not only as a place of remembrance, but as an expression of rising, connection, and illumination.

The Guiding Forces – Light | Connection | Elevation

Light – the energy that reveals, illuminates, and brings the path to life.

Connection – the force that holds community, hearts, and souls within a shared field of presence.

Elevation – the choice to lift our gaze, our energy, and our spirit upward.

This is a prayer built through form, light, and intention – a place where names speak outward into the world, and the light at the center gathers them into one living heart.

Last Year - Resilience

One of the defining forces of NovaHeaven last year was resilience. In the face of storms, rain, endless uncertainty, and constant unexpected challenges, the installation collapsed three times during the build – and each time, we rose and built it again. After ten intense days of work, we succeeded in bringing the installation to life and holding one of the most meaningful moments of the entire journey – the Saturday 6:29 ceremony, the moment the music stopped.

Through all the difficulty, the true strength of the project revealed itself: not only the structure itself, but the people who carried it. Standing beside us was also the Burning Man community, who showed up with love, generosity, and real presence, becoming an inseparable part of the effort to hold, rebuild, and lift this space together with us.

Out of everything that fell apart, we kept building. Out of everything that tried to stop us, we kept shining. And in doing so, we reminded ourselves and the world that the light continues – and that community is the force that allows it to keep shining.

2024 - Against All Odds

In 2024, within just two months, we succeeded in bringing NovaHeaven to life against all odds.
Guided by our angels above, we created a space on the playa that carried memory, love, and a clear declaration of life.

The installation included a replica of the original shade structure, the DNA to Heaven piece with the names of those murdered ascending toward the sky, and the gate bearing the words We Will Dance Again.

Together with good people, endless learning, a deep connection to the earth, and an abundance of love, we created something that was more than an installation – it was a voice, a prayer, and a declaration of a spirit that cannot be broken.
